This is a letter i wrote to corporate of Exxon/Mobile.

Today i had dropped an ipod outside my car, it was on my lap when i got up and i did not realize it fell out. After pumping my gas (which i believe was pump 6)I drove away and later realized i dropped the ipod and i contacted the Exxon in Nanuet New York. The first time I had asked he said he did not have it. The second time i called and told him how important it was to this girl i was giving it to, he felt a little sorry, and asked me describe it. I described it quite well and he had asked me how much i would pay for the ipod.I said $40.00 the most because its valuable. By the way the Ipod had my first and last name printed on the back. He asked me again if it was for the girl, i said yes. He then said a customer had brought it in and offered to give it to him for $30.00 and that, thats all i had to pay. At 3:20am Eastern time i walked into the store, and told him who i was. He wanted money first but i wanted him to show it first, Which he did. This all happened in front of the camera near the register. I gave him the $30.00 and he gave me the ipod. I appreciate that he gave it back, but i feel he totally played me for my money. I would have given a tip to him anyhow for being honest, but the way he went about doing it, made me feel violated. It was my property and had my name on the back ENGRAVED. I would appreciate if you review the tape around 3:20AM - 3:35 Am, i had the black puffy jacked with yellow inside trim. I do not want to be mean but if i do not get a response i might have to tell the local newspaper about this scandal, i really feel its not right. Please follow up with me on this.
